A Message From Pastor Mashek

Greetings in the name of our risen Savior Jesus Christ,

We at St. Matthew strive to be a caring community of faith dedicated to knowing our Savior's love and forgiveness and making that same love known in our community and beyond.  St. Paul tells us that though we are many, yet we are one body in Christ.  The Apostle also reminds us that each of us are members of one another.  We try and stress this blessed fact at St. Matthew so as to encourage one another.  By faith in Jesus Christ's redeeming love and forgiveness, all of us are part of His body, the Church.  No matter who we are, by faith in Christ and His unconditional forgiveness and love we are children of God the Father and have assured place in heaven.

We encourage one another with this Good News as we now in faith, working through love, try to convey this same message of the Gospel to others around us.  We do this for our families, neighborhood, schools and yes, for you!  Our invitation to you personally is to join us in Sunday worship and know the peace and love that we certainly have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I, as Pastor, encourage you to take a few minutes today and read your Bible.  You will certainly have a better day!
